Generally when hunting cape buffalo, tracking is the standard.  Some concessions buffalo are seemingly a regular occurrence, in others however, one may never see a buffalo from the vehicle.  On the other hand, some concessions have better infrastructure than others.  Ones ability to track may dictate where and when to hunt these elusive beasts.  Quite possibly this is the purest form of hunting.  Each day spent looking for fresh tracks to follow, never quite knowing what you will find at the end of the trail.
